A question i wanted to ask,i'm thinking of doing commissions for Christmas, if i did commissions, how much would you guys be comfortable to pay?
for a sketch? or a colored piece(includes a less-fine sketch)?

please be honest, i'm not going with the "max profit" ideal, when you sell things, both parties should be happy. hence when i said comfortable. i'd rather sell a little low, and sell a lot, so i get more practice.


i'd love any tips on comissions, how the trade works, what limits to set, things i should state in the commission journal etc etc.

just in case you're wondering, i'm doing this for a few reasons

1, A man once told me, that commissions are a great way to cure laziness, good practice, and you can't really slack off either. plus you get a little treat at the end.

2, i have a few CDs i'd like to buy, if you know Ronald jenkees, i'd like his, and some soundtracks.

3, it's a nice push forward, a real test for me if my stuff are good enough to sell.

if i ever really decide to do them, it'll be like next month, mainly because i have to finish my animation first

PS: i'd like to clear up any art trades, if you did your part, please let me know. most people post an art trade and disappear

Well, i would reccomend you do a trade~ rather than request, because there's much much more pressure on me to get it done, it's like Request, minus the slack,

Ah, and to those saying, i can't draw, it's crap anyways, i'm not worth it. this is for you. i don't care if your'e a beginner or not, for this, i care about how much you try. don't say my art sucks, it will if you don't practice! i will not say no to an art trade, pretty much except for these reasons

1 I am too busy
2 it's something i will not draw at that time
3 i'm feeling ill
4 i'm up to my neck on art trades and requests

It shows through your works that you did put effort into it. just try hard and i will be happy ne?^^
